Abetrom ltd is a processing, packing and exporting food company, specializing in Kalamata’s finest products, such as olives, olive products, figs and artichokes. Strategically located in Kalamata, Greece, we are dedicated to choosing the best the region has to offer and to delivering our final products timely to our customers, all around the world.
We are a family-owned company, paying attention to each and every detail, keeping direct communications with all parties involved and overall having as our main focus the high quality of our products and of our services.
We pride ourselves in building and honoring long lasting relationships with our partners. We start by placing extra emphasis in treating our local suppliers fairly and in a sustainable manner and we keep that professionalism throughout the whole chain, all the way to our clients in Europe, the Unites States, Canada, Australia, to name a few.
Being based in the heart of the region, where all the growing of our products takes place, gives us an unparalleled local knowledge. This, combined with our family’s ties to the food industry and an expertise spanning over 100 years, is what gives us our very competitive advantage.
- 1910 – Family starts trading and exporting local products from downtown Kalamata.
- 2000 – Family business moves to dedicated facility at the industrial outskirts of Kalamata.
- 2017 – Abetrom Ltd is born. New dedicated olive processing facility is opened at the heart of the olive producing area of Kalamata region of Greece.

At the same time, it takes adherence to the strictest quality controls in order to preserve and bring out the top quality of the products.
Our company is ISO22000 certified, and we cooperate with a family-owned BRC certified unit for the pasteurization line of our products.
